My work is a visual representation of the dialectical relationship between my inner being and various social themes that have both captivated and captured me over time. As an artist, I explore the depths of my emotions on a multitude of levels through color, shape, and the intertwining of the two into a piece.
The artworks are about my perspective of my life on the world around me. With existential undertones, my work focuses on the concrete individual existence set in an infinite unfathomable space. The conflict is in the potential instability of my survival in the city, while groping for a meaningful life with in it. My artwork reflects a dogged predicament. I am constantly waning my thoughts but watching my actions. My artwork allows me to grasp control, reducing my subliminal anxiety towards living and being a productive and functional individual.
